riveting

Joey’s weekly challenge involves a 3D box string and the pattern metal plating. I like the idea of using rivets, so I pulled in a couple of patterns and sprinkled rivets throughout. Very fun.

new pattern – ledrow

So I was cleaning out my Inbox (I started using this really cool email organizer – Sortd) and I found a photo that my husband had forwarded to me. I had asked him to take a picture of this window (on a cruise ship earlier this year) because I thought it had pattern possibilities.

A little fiddling here and a little fiddling there and here is a new pattern – ledrow.

Here is a tile featuring ledrow.

a cylinder and a few christmas trees

It’s a cylinder for the string over at Joey’s Weekly Tangle Challenge. We’re working through a series of strings that are 3D.

And I finally got my “You Color It” Christmas cards up in my Etsy shop. They’re just right for coloring or tangling and the envelopes have a little wiggle room in case you want to add some embellishments.

Etsy: You-Color-It Christmas Cards

Here are a few examples of what they can look like. Card #4 (black and white) and #3 (color) with a little Zentangle-inspired doodling (micron pens, pencil, and colored pencils).

And here are lovely masterpieces done by my daughter-in-law (markers) and grandson (grandma’s colored pencils).

Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.  Larry Wilde
