I haven’t done an “older folks doing cool stuff” post in a while.

I love quotes and I’ve always been attracted to quotes by Winston Churchill

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.”
“You have enemies? Good. It means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”
“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, it’s also what it takes to sit down and listen.”
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
“Never, never, never give up.”

He was 65 years old when he became Prime Minister and lead during the difficult years of World War II. He was also a pretty good artist and a Nobel prize winner. Tough old bird.

This month I’m dabbling in color. It’s a tough challenge for me (but I’m not going to give up!).

patterns: sez, socc, and twistee
materials: tangle*a*day calendar, black micron, and colored pencils
